2016 Season

Having completed my masters degree in the spring of 2015, and what with taking an indefinite break before pursuing my doctorate, I've been very apprehensive about maintaining a presence in the Canadian music scene. With that said, I consider myself extremely fortunate that the coming 2016 season is looking very exciting - I'm so lucky to still have all of these opportunities to write! - Lucas

William George of Erato Ensemble ( has invited me to compose a new work for their spring concert at the Orpheum Annex on April 2nd 2016. The proposal is however possibly one of the most unique I've ever received!
